Ayer en el comienzo de la temporada de How I Met Your Mother me he encontrado esta deliciosa escena sobre lo que es de verdad La Guerra de las Galaxias.

He quitado todas las referencias a nombres de los personajes para evitar así spoilers, pero si de verdad hay alguien que sigue la serie y no se ha visto el primer capítulo de la cuarta igual podría "spoilearse".

- She's never seen Star Wars?!
The only people in the universe who haven't seen Star Wars are the characters in Star Wars,

- I told you. I told you you didn't know this girl well enough.

En fin... la verdad es que hace años yo pasé por una situación parecida con el que era mi novio y es un momento tenso cuando le pones la peli y sabes que si no le gusta va a ser un abismo muy importante. Yo tuve suerte y le gustó (pero no tuve tanta suerte con Babylon 5)...
En How I Met... a ella no le gustó pero dijo que sí le había gustado

- You hated it, didn't you?
- Ugh, it's so stupid.
I mean, first of all, how do they understand that walking...
bear they hang around with all the time?
- Wookiee.
- Yeah, he goes...
- And they're all like,

- Okay, he's a Wookiee, and his kind is actually more intelligent than they appear.

He watches Star Wars in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad.

La verdad es que Carter Bays & Craig Thomas a veces tienen días muy buenos y se sacan de la manga momentos muy buenos en la serie (que es lo que hace que la siga viendo). De hecho en el capítulo tenemos otra perla de referencia friki:

"I was high-fiving 15-Year-Old Me through the space-time continuum."

Actualización: Como me ha recordado mi amigo evilteq en su críptico comentario también tenemos por ahí una genial historia que cuenta los problemas surgidos a raíz del duro momento de un friki de ponerle La Guerra de las Galaxias a tu no-tan-friki pareja. Se trata de un corto de un friki que tenemos por España haciendo cortos y documentales llamado Ciro Altabás. El corto en cuestión es "DVD". Una deliciosa historia sobre chico conoce a chica no friki...
En él también ella da su veredicto a La Guerra de las Galaxias:
